Pottery by Ken Beidler
30 artists and crafters headline the 2014 Arts League Craft Show running from December 5 to December 21. Opening reception is Friday, December 5 from 6 to 8 with wine and refreshments. Top names are part of this signature show.
They include potters Ken Beidler and Dave “Fatman” Fowler, jeweler Jennifer Sweda and Chase Brown with his ceramic flasks which were featured earlier in the year in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Among the first time contributors is artist Eli VandenBerg who will be showing small drawings, woodcuts and hand colored letter-press prints. Another new exhibitor is Mette Jensen who uses polymer clay in the millefiori technique to achieve vividly colored and decorated jewelry. Heidi Barr’s lovely napkins and tea towels are made from reclaimed curtains and men’s shirts.
Items range from $10 on up. Artists receive a commission on pieces sold.
